Why We March

Gloria Steinem once said that “The truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off.” And boy are we pissed off.

Here are just a few of the things Sin in Linen stands for:

We stand for equal rights.
We stand for reproductive rights.
We stand for women’s rights.
We stand for the positive growth of young women.
We stand for positive collaborations with people from other countries.

If you find yourself witnessing the current shifts occurring in our political structure and feel helpless, you are not alone. But stand firm. Stand tall. And, if possible, stand with a family of fearless fighters. The Women's March website is chock full of resources on how to stay engaged.

To help get you in the powerful pussy spirit we’ve got two seriously fantastic shirts up on our site that help you get your message out in the world. Check out our fearlessly beautiful “Pussy Bites Back” shirt designed by our favorite Detroit artist, Scoob Toobins or the classic as ever “Feminist as F*ck” shirt that gets your message out loud and clear.

Albert Einstein once pointed out that “Great spirits have always encountered opposition from mediocre minds.” We are a family of great minds. We will not be afraid of any opposition, particularly when it comes from mediocre minds.
As Susan B. Anthony once said, “There is so much yet to be done.”

We’re here with you.

And we’re ready to help get shit done.

Hey Sin in Linen team, I appreciate your message to promote feminism and equality. I believe inclusion of all races and genders is the key, as long as it doesn’t come at the expense of demeaning the other gender or another race. I think the “Feminist As F*CK” shirt is cool because guys can wear it too. I think we are seeing a major shift in Hollywood and many technology driven sectors. If you look at the switchvox industry, more women are getting top jobs, but it’s only because of awareness and marches like the ones you guys support. Hope you keep up the good work.
