As a woman-owned and run business, our designs clearly reflect our belief that women can express themselves through style that is tough and bold, while still being feminine.
Sin in Linen is the passion of entrepreneur Sandy Glaze. While searching for bed sheets for her own home she found precious little product to match her adventurous sense of style. Sensing that she was not alone in her quest for self-expression Sandy launched her new soft goods enterprise with her mother, Iris.
Sandy founded Sin in Linen in 2004 to express her desire to bring the culture she lives into consumer home textile products. Sin in Linen pairs evocative designs with traditional linens for bed, bath, kitchen and home décor. Retro styling, rock and roll themes and dreams of seduction are infused into everyday products in hopes that our customers will feel as enthusiastic about their own personal style as we do at Sin in Linen.
Since that first introduction in 2004 Sandy has continued to push the boundaries of home textile design by providing soft goods with her lively style by introducing a full range of retro-style imagery as well as soft textures and designs for bedding, bath and kitchen linens. Sandy and Iris felt the seductive whimsy of the 1940’s and 1950’s pin-up imagery was the perfect place to start.
Sandy has been involved in the creation and production of important events and visual arts, music, performance art and film in Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle before moving to the Northwest in 1996. She has been a full time resident of Seattle since 1999 and remains engaged in the lively culture, and counterculture of the region. In 2004 Sandy became a Founding Member of the roller derby league Rat City Rollergirls skating as Ann Munition #357 and as a current Alumnus continues to support the league.
Combining all of this, she has developed a personal style that reflects her eclectic love of art, performance, rock n’ roll, roller derby and retro design. Sin in Linen is a natural extension of Sandy’s penchant for pushing the envelope of discerning style. Sin in Linen pairs imaginative designs with affordable, good quality, home textiles. Our brand is fashion forward with collections woven with the same energy that creates great music and art.
Sandy says, she hopes to ignite passion in the homes and hearts of everyone who wants to, “Try Something New in Bed.”
